Our history
Millican Materials was established in March 2026, rooted in a vision to provide high-quality select fill, topsoil, sand, gravel, and road base. The journey began with a piece of property located in Millican Texas, where we started harvesting materials to support our own construction projects. As we began utilizing the resources from our land, we engaged local trucking companies to transport materials to our job sites. During this time, we received inquiries from these trucking companies, asking if we would consider selling materials to them for their own projects. Recognizing our strategic location near ongoing jobs in Navasota, College Station, and surrounding areas, we understood the potential to serve a broader market. The trucking companies expressed that sourcing materials from us would significantly reduce their transportation costs, allowing them to offer more competitive pricing to their customers. This feedback highlighted a growing need in the region for reliable material suppliers. Consequently, we made the decision to allow these trucking companies to purchase materials directly from us. This pivot marked the official launch of Millican Materials as a supplier, transforming our initial operations from personal use to a business serving the local construction industry.
